In the misty depths of Wenshan, only the first tender buds of early spring are picked. The fresh tea leaves are placed into bamboo tubes, steamed softly with mountain spring water and glutinous rice of the year, pounded firmly with a wooden mallet, then slowly roasted over firewood — the tea buds sleep inside the bamboo tube for three years, absorbing the purity of bamboo and condensing the radiance of the moon, eventually becoming a “breathing tea pillar.”

The ritual of opening the tube:
The knife strikes, bamboo cracks, tea aroma breaks out! The golden tea pillar wrapped in a faint bamboo membrane instantly releases the fragrance of glutinous rice, tea, and fresh bamboo.
